BBCOR Baseball Bats

Starting in 2012, High School Baseball is joining the college ranks with baseball bat certifications. The BESR certification will no longer be legal in the state high school league, or legion play. This new standard measures bat performance and replaces the previous BESR standard. Beginning in January 2011 for NCAA (college) play and January 2012 for NFHS (high school) play, all bats must be BBCOR certified.
